A custom home builder,
built carefully.
Crestwell builds custom houses in Richmond Hill, Markham, and North York, backed by more than fifty years of combined construction experience across the GTA.
Built from decades of work.
The team has spent more than fifty combined years building homes, running construction businesses, and shipping projects across the GTA. Crestwell is how we do the work today — clearly, on schedule, with a real conversation between builder and client at every stage.
That sounds simple, but in custom home building it isn’t always how things go. Surprises during construction, opaque budgets, schedules that slip without explanation — these are common enough that homeowners brace for them. Crestwell is the company that doesn’t do that.
“We want the work and the experience of working with us to both be worth recommending.”
That means publishing what we’d otherwise just promise — a written finishing checklist, weekly cost reports, a real two-year service window after handover. Standards that are written down are easier to hold ourselves to.
Why GTA North.
Richmond Hill, Markham, and North York are some of the most established residential neighbourhoods in the Greater Toronto Area — mature streets, mixed lot sizes, every kind of architectural vocabulary from mid-century ranches to contemporary infill. We build across all of it.
The team has been working in these communities for decades. We know the suppliers, the trades, the inspectors, and the streetscapes. That local knowledge translates into smoother permits, fewer surprises, and a finished house that fits where it sits.
Decades of homes built across the GTA. We know the work, top to bottom.
Richmond Hill, Markham, North York. Where we live, where we build.
The written standard every project finishes against. Same regimen, every build.
The things we believe in.
Show the work.
Every client gets weekly cost-and-schedule updates and full access to the project portal. You see what we see, when we see it.
Write it down.
A 47-point finishing checklist. A published critical-path schedule. A written change-order process. Standards are easier to hold to when they’re on paper.
Stick around.
Two years of service after handover for the seasonal touch-ups and inevitable settling. A new build is a relationship, not a transaction.
Want to talk? We’d love to.
